Koeman: Laporta said he believes in me but...

Ronald Koeman has revealed that new Barcelona president Joan Laporta has told him that he believes in him.

The Dutchman spoke to the press on Saturday ahead of Barcelona's tricky visit to Anoeta to face Real Sociedad on Sunday.

"It is important that [Laporta] has highlighted the work [done this season]," Koeman told the media.

"He has told me that he believes in me. And this is important, but this may change if there are no results."
