Ighalo: I want Man Utd move

Watford on-form striker Odion Ighalo has given Manchester United the go-ahead to sign him.

The 26-year-old has been one of the most lethal strikers in the Premier League this season, with 14 goals already to his name. He is well-known for his partnership with teammate Troy Deeney upfront, something that has propelled the Premier League new-comers to the ninth position in the table.

The Nigerian has also been linked with moves to Atletico Madrid and Italian giants AS Roma, but has recently revealed that he would wish to stay in England, precisely with the Hornets.

However, he also added that he could reconsider his decision to stay at the Vicarage Road Stadium if Manchester United seeks for his signature.

In an interview with The Sun, he revealed:

"There has been speculation from Spain and Italy but I've played there and now want to play in England.”

"I don't think I will be moving, but I'm not sure I'd say no if United called.”

He added: "They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV.''

"They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream."
