Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi is on his way out of
Major League Soccer as concrete European offers are pouring in as expected.
Earlier report shows that Rubin Kazan, Cardiff City, Werder
Bremen and Sporting Lisbon are ready to snap up the 25-year-old if Timbers
agree to do business.
And it seems the striker already knows where his future
belong in the next coup of days to the close of transfer window, while a closer
pal revealed authoritatively that he’s quitting MLS to Europe.
“He’s leaving MLS, no doubt about that but for now he’s
understudying what is on the table,” said source.
“Right now, I can't disclose his interested club among them
but in the next couple of days, we will see what will happen but he’s leaving
Timbers.”
The former Dynamo Kiev and FC Copenhagen man has seen his
stock rise in the last one year after his goals, 18 in total, assisted Portland
Timbers win the 2015 MLS Cup.
Fanendo Adi previously represented clubs based in Slovakia,
Ukraine and Denmark before joining Portland Timbers in 2014.
